What AFP Means to Me:

My affiliation with the NFAFP has been a rewarding experience on many levels. Not only have the connections I’ve made had a direct correlation in advancing my career, but the chapters robust membership has allowed me to interact with people and learn things that I simply would not have had an opportunity to do otherwise. I am looking forward to a long standing relationship with the chapter!

What AFP Means To Me:

I’ve been fortunate to have had an extensive career in the Treasury field working for a variety of companies and industries.  A big part of the continuation of that career is having affiliations with the AFP at the national and local level. Having a chapter in north Florida to connect professionals in our field is an invaluable resource and I encourage just about any financial professional to consider chapter membership for the benefit of their career.

What AFP Means To Me:

I recently re-engaged with the NFAFP as I was a member from the 2016 rebirth to 2018 when I moved to Daytona Beach and changed positions within the bank. I’m now excited to serve as a board member, even though it’s a bit of a drive. I believe in the organization and want to see it thrive and grow. Being able to connect with other bankers and treasury professionals along with keeping up with trends within the financial industry is invaluable and time well-spent

What AFP Means to Me:

Over the course of a 30 year career I’ve been a treasury practitioner, been in FinTech, gotten involved in treasury and working capital tech startups, managed money, managed risk, traded, led teams, spent time consulting and have probably worked with over 300 corporations throughout my career.  But the one thing I keep an eye out for is, what I don’t know that I don’t know.  The NFAFP does an incredible job keeping me current and helping to remove that potential blind spot – whether it was Blockchain, ChatGPT, LIBOR/SOFR, SVB collapse, RTP/Payments, I could easily go on.  That, coupled with the wide/diverse network of members, makes the meetings can’t miss events that I actually enjoy attending.

What AFP Means to Me:

I’ve enjoyed my time with NFAFP since relocating to the area in 2022 with my employer, Regions Bank. The chapter has provided me a way to stay up to date on relevant information & topics, along with earning CE Credits for my CTP designation, through its quarterly meetings. It’s also provided an opportunity for involvement and networking in the North Florida area that is targeted to professionals in my industry or that may be customer’s of my industry.
